Commissioning Original Artworks
Working together to create a piece that's perfect for your space is a really wonderful process, and I welcome all commission enquiries. My commission windows open up several times a year, and if currently closed, a waiting list will be available.
If you're considering commissioning paintings, it helps to think about:
-
Size – preferred dimensions, or a few possible size options if unsure.
-
Style – which pieces from my current work, or things you've liked on my social media you are most drawn to.
-
Colour palette – helpful if there's a preference, though guidance is available. The space the piece will hang can be a useful starting point, along with any key features or accompanying artwork planned for the room.
How the Commissioning Process Works
Everyone on the commission waiting list will be notified when the commissioning window is open, and asked to send an email outlining what they'd like. Once size and style are established, a quote will be sent via email. Commissions will be added to the schedule when a 50% deposit has been paid.
The commission process includes one to two check-ins to confirm the work is aligned with the brief. Commission arrangements are handled over email, with bank transfer or card payment available - whichever is best for you.
Commissions will be shipped after the final 50% payment has been received, and shipping costs and logistics will be quoted in advance so you're fully aware of what to expect.
