£85.00

Sea Leaf is an abstract study in deep blues and muted lilacs, layered with contrasting light and dark passages, and scattered metallic silver and red-orange accents. Rough, granular texture meets smoother, luminous fields in oil, oil pastel, ink and charcoal on artisanal paper, suggesting water-like movement and a shifting natural topography.

Hahnemühle German Etching, giclée

Prints are produced using archival giclée printing on Hahnemühle German Etching, a heavyweight 310gsm fine art paper made from 100% cellulose using traditional mould-made papermaking techniques. It has a natural tone and a distinctive, pronounced surface texture, closer to a hand-pulled etching or watercolour paper than a standard photographic print, giving the piece real tactile depth and a crafted, gallery-quality feel.

The giclée process uses ultra-fine, wide-gamut inkjet technology to build up rich, accurate colour and deep, dense blacks. German Etching's textured surface holds ink particularly well, which is what gives these prints their characteristic depth and contrast. The paper is rated for a print life of 100+ years under proper display and framing conditions, making it built to be lived with, not just looked at once.

When framing, we recommend anti-reflective, UV-protective glass to guard against fading and glare while keeping colour and detail true.

Framing

Fine art prints are manufactured to a high standard and include glazing to protect the print.

If framing yourself, we recommend anti-reflective, UV-protective glass to guard against fading and glare while keeping colour and detail true.

Large Format Prints

Where an image has been offered at a size larger than the original artwork, it has been carefully enlarged using advanced image-upscaling technology, which intelligently reconstructs fine detail as the image scales up so that clarity, colour and impact are preserved at the new size. Each enlargement is individually inspected to make sure it holds together beautifully as a finished piece and creates the impact you want on a wall, viewed the way most art is seen, from across a room.

As with any artwork produced at a larger scale, very close-up inspection may show the fine texture of the marks reading slightly differently than they do on the original, smaller piece - a natural result of enlarging original work rather than a flaw in the print. It's the same effect you'd notice comparing a small study to a large-scale painting of the same subject. From normal viewing distance, the print reads exactly as intended.

Please bear this in mind when choosing the sizing of your artwork, in relation to the viewing depth you expect to experience in the space the artwork is intended for.

As these prints are made to order, we're unable to accept returns for a change of mind - but any damaged or faulty item will always be replaced or refunded. See our Shipping & Returns Policy for full details.

Please allow 1–10 working days for production (longer if framed), plus 6–15 working days for delivery depending on destination. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your location and framing choice.
